How much of an individualist are we? And how does this effect our relationships with others in our communities, families, and churches? Do we want to create truth for ourselves? And if we do, by what standard can we measure if we have been successful or not in our endeavors? What is success? What is good?
These things all have to do with power–the central focus of my research. For the last two years I have been reading and writing and driving John crazy with my observations on power in relationships. Often he tells me, “now Anita, maybe it would be better if you not use the word ‘power’ in the upcoming discussion”.
